New digs

Hey all! By popular demand, I've started a blog to keep everyone updated. First things first, pics of the apartment:

I've settled in pretty well, though I'm still a little jet lagged. Friday was a holiday due to Diwali celebrations, so I ended up hitting the gym at the office (yay Google!) and taking a long nap. I might try to see some fireworks tonight.

I don't really like that countdown gadget on the right. It's got that little white border on top and it comes with an ad underneath it. If I get really annoyed, I'll find a better way to do it. Better yet, if you're really annoyed by it, find me a better solution ;)

I'll try not to neglect this thing as time goes on. Feel free to send me friendly (or angry) reminders to make new posts =)

    Diwali is their celebration of some mythical victory of good over evil. Uhh I guess they do have graham crackers and chocolate and marshmallows, so they could have smores...

    That is sweet. The apartment looks really nice. Glad you have adapted.

    Can you create a go/link for internal members? e.g. go/andrewli or so?
    Might be easier to remember than andrewli-in-india-forex-mesothelioma-click-here-blogspot.com :)

    that's a really nice place--did google hook u up with it? is it yours for yourself or do you have like a roommate? what's your neighborhood like, or is that kind of like a google campus that you're on? this seems kind of like a fun trip. except for, you know, the locals.

    hahah yes, Google did provide this apartment for me. There are a couple of others sharing the apartment with me at the moment, but they are only staying for a few months.

    The neighborhood is actually pretty nice. It's probably one of the richer areas in the city.
